CSA fans and Johnny Ace are Hallo-weenies
Found out today I am pulling a cushy C in a class that by all rights I probably should be flunking, because apparently I am that good of a bullshit artist. Yay for mediocrity!
Saturday was the CWF Halloween show which I thought overall went pretty well, even if it WAS one of those nights (which seem to happen at least every couple of months) where I wished everyone in the CSA crowd died in a chemical fire. Possibly the worst, most obnoxious crowd I've ever worked in front of, but I the overall experience I'd rank as positive. Stone Cold Tank was a highlight and I felt it was a tight show on paper that would have played beautifully in front of actual fans.
Speaking of Saturday, want to send a shout out to Justin Feeche, who I imagine is hurtin' this Monday afternoon following his barbed wire match with Aaron Devil 2 days ago. In stark contrast, I rassled Rob McBride on Saturday and the biggest bump I took the whole time was off a back elbow. I am such a horrible "wrestler" and my wrestling appearances are 99% of the time someone else's idea, but I did think it was neat to continue my streak of annual Rob McBride Halloween-time singles matches. I got to impersonate the Boogie Woogie Man, although even I don't know which one I was actually supposed to be as I thought it'd be more fun to just kind of slip in out of Valiant/McBride, stream of consciousness like. Tank Austin was freaking great too, I felt and the overall mood felt upbeat backstage and disheartening in front of the people.
Today is Halloween and I traditionally hate this holiday because there are never any fat costumes and I never have anything to do. But tonight I am heading over to Corzo's so that should be fulfilling.
Christian apparently quit WWE this morning. If Jesus loves wrestling fans, he'll be in ROH just in time for the 4th anniversary weekend or at the very least mocking Shark Boy in TNA. For a while there, Christian became THE reason to watch. Now he'll be the reason to watch someone else.
